  1. Why are there no prices on the website?Furniture of America (Furniture Direct) is an authorized dealer for all the manufacturers displayed on our website. As a dealer, we are guided by a set of rules that are established by the manufacturers. Currently, most manufacturers restrict pricing on the Internet.

    To obtain pricing information, as well as a complete listing of all the manufacturers we represent, visit one of our stores or call Furniture Direct at (702) 307-5000.

  2. Can you email or fax prices to me?As with displaying prices on the Internet, faxing or emailing prices is not allowed by most brand name manufacturers.
  3. How do I get a cost quote on items I am interested in? Once you have selected the furniture item or items that suit your lifestyle and design needs, make note of the model or item# to assist us in serving you.

    You may then choose to call us at (702) 307-5000 to speak with a Furniture Direct sales associate;

    or

    you may fill out the Info Request form on our website and a Furniture Direct representative will contact you with information you have requested.

  4. What happens if I am unable to locate the item #? If you are unable to locate the model or item# of a particular piece of furniture, be assured that our sales associates are knowledgeable on the over 100 manufacturers that Furniture Direct represents. Call us at (702) 307-5000 and a member of our staff will locate the item or find something very similar through our vast resources.
  5. Are you able to sell me items I have seen elsewhere but are not shown on your site? Not all manufacturers permit the listing of their name on a dealer’s website. Furniture Direct is an authorized dealer for even more manufacturers than the many great names shown at www.FurnitureOfAmerica.com.

  6. Do I pay Sales Tax on my order?Sales tax is due, and will be collected on all items delivered to addresses in the state of Nevada. Sales tax will not be collected for orders delivered to other states. All customers located in other states must take responsibility for complying with the tax laws of the state where the furniture is delivered.
  7. Do you require a down payment on my order?Customers have the option of making a down payment equal to 50% of the total purchase price, or, you may choose to pay the full amount at the time you place an order. If you opt to make a 50% down payment, the balance is due at the time (date) your order is shipped by the manufacturer to our warehouse.
  8. Is there a minimum amount I can order?There is no price minimum on orders for smaller accessory items that can be shipped via UPS. However, we have found through our years of experience that if your order totals less than $500, the substantial savings we offer has less due to shipping costs. Our goal is to give you, our customer, the very best price, value and service. So call us at (702) 307-5000 for a quote, and then you have the best information to make your own comparison and purchasing decision.

  10. How do you determine my shipping costs?Shipping costs are determined by weight, and by delivery location.
  11. Is there a difference between shipping costs, delivery and set-up?Yes.

    Shipping costs are determined by the manufacturer and cover the cost of shipping your order from the manufacturer’s factory to the Furniture Direct warehouse.

    Delivery and set-up costs are paid to the delivery company coordinating our in-home white-glove delivery service. The process of delivery and set-up includes unboxing your furniture, inspection of each item, any assembly if required, and finally, placed of your furniture in the designated area or room in your home.

  12. Do you offer nationwide delivery? Even to small towns.Yes!

    We deliver to every city in the United States. We have even been able to arrange furniture delivery internationally.

  13. About how long does it take for my order to be delivered? Our manufacturers require that we estimate a delivery time frame of 8 – 12 weeks. With most of our manufacturers who are based in Italy an order will take longer to receive. They are in control, not us. If your item is in stock, your delivery time will be relatively shorter.

    The manufacturer determines when your furniture is completed and ready for shipment, so we cannot guarantee a specific date, but we do make every effort to keep you informed of the progress of your order. Please feel free to contact us at (702) 307-5000 for a status check.

  14. What if the furniture is damaged on delivery? What do I do?Since we do not live in a perfect world, we advise that you take the time to carefully inspect each item at the time of delivery and make note of any damages or defects on the signed delivery receipt.

    Transit damage is any damage occurring during the shipment or handling of your furniture order. The shipper is responsible for all damage that occurs during shipment.

    Manufacturer defects are any defects that were missed by the manufacturer’s quality control inspections, and all of the furniture you purchase is covered by the ‘Manufacturer’s Warranty’, which is generally a 1-year warranty from date of shipment from the factory.
